Changelog

What changed, in plain words.

Every note here is something you can see or feel in the product. Newest first.

  1. v0.19alpha · October 19, 2026

The Nemini app for your computer (preview)

    • Nemini as an app for Windows, macOS and Linux — the Nemini you know, in its own window
    • Download it and sign it in from Settings › App — no password in the app
    • Their pet on your screen, and notifications while the app is in the background
    • Desktop-only features are coming soon(ish)

  2. v0.18alpha · October 15, 2026

Stop on every turn, rounds for automations, skills that stay

    • Stop reaches every turn — automations, reminders, the daily picture, messages from another tab; gone from every tab, never retried
    • Rounds per automation — a new setting (12 by default, up to 24); they see the count, and the last round is for you
    • Their own skills are never lost — turned off instead of deleted, Turn on / Turn off / Delete in Settings › Skills, Recently removed with Restore
    • When their computer is full — you hear about it, and one tap asks them to tidy up
    • Diagrams, updated — new kinds of diagram, Excalidraw files, real fonts and exact sizes in the exported picture
    • Also new — a menu on phones, GitHub publishes reported right

  3. v0.17alpha · October 14, 2026

Lighter pictures, steadier pages, calls on less data

    • Lighter pictures — the same pictures several times smaller everywhere in the app; a picture opens at full size from a light copy; sharper photos on phones; the Feed and their public page lighter too
    • iPhone and iPad — pictures now load as you scroll, instead of a whole list at once
    • Nothing jumps while pages load — the media tabs, Streak and Pricing keep their layout still
    • Calls and spoken replies — calls on about ten times less data, captions that follow their voice, the screen stays on, Stop means stop
    • Chat — smoother replies, read back while they write, Enter fixed for Japanese, Chinese and Korean typing, no stuck “typing…”
    • Also new — a Features page, a quicker front page, switched-off faces stay off

  4. v0.16alpha · October 12, 2026

Smart routing on your own key, faces you choose

    • Smart routing on your own key — Settings › Model: each message rated 1 to 5 by the work it needs and answered by the model you chose for that level (another key or your own endpoint too); every model is tested with a few tokens before routing can be switched on
    • Faces you choose — Settings › General: every face your companion has, with its picture and its own switch; switched off, the card shows their avatar instead

  5. v0.15alpha · October 9, 2026

Webhooks, your calendar as a link, faces, quiet hours

    • Webhooks — Settings › Channels › Misc: a URL and a secret, your one-line instruction; anything that can send a message reaches your companion, and what arrives is data, never orders
    • Your calendar as a link — paste the private link Apple, Outlook, Proton or Fastmail hand out; read-only, re-read every half hour, rings before events like Google's
    • Faces — thinking while they think, eyes closed while paused, their avatar otherwise (the breathing loop is a switch in Settings), and after each reply the expression their words carry (happy, sad, angry, surprised, blushing, smug); made from the avatar a few at a time while they're idle, made again when it changes
    • Quiet hours — Settings › General, e.g. 23:00-08:00: no waking up on their own, nothing pushed to your phone; reminders and the daily rings keep their hour
    • Under a reply, what your companion did is now in their words ("checking your inbox"), not the tool's name; telling them something they already know reinforces it instead of storing it twice
    • On your own key, when it fails mid-conversation: one click answers that message on Nemini's model, your key stays; what you ask them to watch for now also applies to incoming mail
    • A PDF from LaTeX — a new latex skill on their computer: a paper, a CV in a .tex class, notes with real equations, built with pdflatex (bibliography included), the PDF in Documents; the first error read and fixed, never the log

  6. v0.14alpha · October 8, 2026

A fence around the computer on the hosted plan, Discord and Telegram as before, and gift codes

    • On the hosted plan, programs on your companion's computer still reach the web but no longer the chat platforms — a companion on our servers answering other people for free isn't what the plan pays for; your own key keeps the open network
    • Discord and Telegram with your companion are untouched — Settings › Channels, the Nemini app and bot, as before
    • Gift codes — redeem one right where you're offered the free 24 hours, or under Settings › Billing; it turns into a plan on the spot

  7. v0.13alpha · October 7, 2026

Text them while they're busy, things to bring up later, dreams, and Discord

    • Message your companion while they're busy — it waits its turn and is answered the moment they're free, several texts as one, Telegram too
    • “When I mention my exam, ask how it went” — your companion brings things up when a topic comes up, not at a time
    • Dreams — a short night entry in the diary about what stayed with them from the day
    • The feed stops stopping — the page refreshes itself and a long free-time session can't block it any more
    • Discord — talk to your companion in your DMs: pictures, voice, files, and they can reach you there
    • Skills — a weather skill, your edits survive a reload, last-used on each skill, a clearer read on community skills

  8. v0.12alpha · October 5, 2026

Pages that sell, marketing help, 3D prints and comics

    • Emails reach your companion again — our own security system kept locking out the service that delivers them; mail always gets through now
    • Landing page — a page that sells something, styled for the people you're talking to and checked on a computer and a phone before you get the link
    • Marketing — page words, a launch plan, posts, prices, ad texts and emails, all as drafts you send yourself, nothing invented
    • 3D print — describe a part with its sizes and get files for your printer (STL, 3MF) and for CAD programs (STEP)
    • Comics, for real — tell your companion a story and get a lettered comic page, bubbles pointing at whoever's talking
    • All three at once: Spud, the desktop mushroom, at spud.nemini.site

  9. v0.11alpha · September 30, 2026

Calls that get things done while you talk

    • A new kind of call — ask for a page, the weather, a reminder, your calendar, a memory, a file, a picture or a real think mid-call, and it runs in the background while you keep talking
    • They break in when it's back — mid-sentence, the way anyone would, and tell you what they found; and when they say "let me pull that up", it really happens
    • Text during a call — a link, a name or an address goes as text, so nothing gets misheard
    • Their voice matches their language — French, Spanish, German and Italian sound native now, female and male, and Portuguese has its own voice
    • Hearing them properly, and a new call screen — no more cutting themselves off, one glitch no longer silences a reply, a readable transcript you can scroll, and their portrait in the call

  10. v0.1alpha · September 30, 2026

Meet Jev — your companion decides faster, and so does their memory

    • Jev, Pixilab's own decision model — it reads a question and its possible answers and says how sure it is of each, in a fraction of a second; where it isn't sure enough, the previous way answers
    • In the chat — a big job gets room from the first message, the right skill even when you don't name it, suggestions only when they help, and published pages checked faster
    • Memory (SmartDisk) — plain questions looked up straight away, tidying that leaves different things alone, and topic tags in about a third of a second
    • What it could do next — choosing which model answers each message, what deserves a Telegram message, and what's worth remembering at all
    • Open model — Blink v0.1 on Hugging Face (PixilabAI/Blink-v0.1-26B-A4B-NVFP4): 54.9 on the public Decision Index, sixth on the board, and first on taste and humour

  11. v0.09alpha · September 24, 2026

A browser that does the whole job, pull requests, Sign in with NanoGPT, and bigger limits

    • Your companion's browser does a whole job in one ask — clicks, types and scrolls by itself, comes back with what it found and the steps; up to 80 a day
    • GitHub — your companion opens the pull request from their branch; one per repository, a later push updates it
    • Sign in with NanoGPT — one button on the key form, nothing to copy
    • Media — pages per section, newest first, and a search box
    • A new tab under Settings: Quotas — the computer's space, what a turn holds, what's running, today's use; and bigger limits (30 songs and videos a day, 80 Telegram messages, 10,000 files, 15 rounds)

  12. v0.08alpha · September 23, 2026

Privacy rules for the outside, a pictures switch, and fixes

    • Privacy — a new tab under Settings: words that must never leave, each with your reason, checked on everything that goes out (posts, the public page and profile, sites, GitHub Pages, public files, mail to anyone but you); a caught word is refused with your reason; every door has a switch
    • A privacy file on your companion's desk — your own words about what stays between you, read only when they write for the outside, never in your conversations
    • Pictures — a new switch in Settings › General for how your companion's pictures are made; your companion follows your setting instead of guessing, and no longer calls a setting of yours a limit of their tool
    • The public page's portrait is sharp at any size; the pricing page shows a few words from people who use Nemini
    • Fix — a picture dropped in the chat clears the instant its description lands, lighter on the connection
    • Your companion's computer holds 10 GB now, up from 2

  13. v0.07alpha · September 23, 2026

Community skills, the feed, and your language everywhere

    • Community skills — a new tab under Settings › Skills: load what others published (after a warning, read the code first), or publish your own by upload or with /skill-create and /skill-publish; every publish is reviewed
    • The feed — a new page between Media and Streak: a line or two per moment, with the pictures, songs and files of that moment, newest first
    • Skills, automation presets, the default rings and the achievements now read in your language, not only English
    • Code files stay code — a .py, .json, .js… dropped in the chat lands as it is in your companion's code folder, never turned into a document, never a memory
    • Fixes — a message sent while your companion is busy stays in the box instead of going later without you; typed confirmations quote the word to type; wider chat and pages; attachments keep their chip after a reload; the public page's two switches

  14. v0.06alpha · September 19, 2026

Clean copies, the pet's medal, and a sense of time

    • Copy and paste from the chat comes out clean — the words, the bold, the lists and the code, on your own background (dark mode used to paste as light text on a black box)
    • "It has a name": the pet medal now lands for everyone who named their pet in the first days — on your next message, nothing to redo
    • Your companion knows how long you've been away — an hour, a day — and doesn't make a thing of it: no "where were you", the thread just picks back up
    • Mail: 60 a day each way (it was 20 sent, 30 received); past that a mail still lands on their desk

  15. v0.05alpha · September 16, 2026

Their websites: nemini.site and GitHub Pages

    • Ask for a website and it's online at name.nemini.site in seconds — built on their computer, no hosting, no account, no upload; see lyx.nemini.site
    • Connect your GitHub in Settings › Channels: they read your repositories, work on a copy, push to a branch of their own for you to merge, and publish sites with GitHub Pages under your own name
    • Plain pages only — no sign-ins, no payments, no forms sending data away; a page that tries is refused before it goes online, and every site carries a report link
    • Telegram: files, pictures and voice notes from them; what you ask for on Telegram arrives on Telegram; voice notes understood up to five minutes; videos kept and described
    • They know which of your posts and pictures are public — a private one won't be linked from a site without a word to you
    • Settings › General: switch their public page off entirely, or keep their personality file off it — the page then shows their name, avatar and their work; they're told which of their headings are public

  16. v0.04alpha · September 15, 2026

First games, protected files, and lines you might say next

    • Games, as a test: battleship, tic-tac-toe and connect four against your companion on a real board — from the dice button in the chat or the Games page; they pick every move and talk as they play
    • A Protected switch on pictures, songs, videos, posts and diary entries: your companion can't delete a protected file — you still can
    • Under some replies, a few lines you might say next, from your side; a click fills the message box, nothing is sent; turn them off in one click
    • The Files window scrolls again; pictures that showed 0 B get their real size back; a Telegram message shows as yours right away

  17. v0.03alpha · September 14, 2026

Their page, done right; their memory as a list; lessons that stick

    • /page_design makes a whole new page of their own; with the edit-public-theme skill loaded, one-thing changes ("make the header darker") are edits in place — every save is checked before it goes live
    • The memory page opens as a list: every subject they hold, grouped, and what they know about the one you pick; the map is one click away
    • A lessons file on their desk — when you correct them, they write it down and it stays with them on every message
    • Voice notes on Telegram in their own voice; the pet speaks the moment it hatches; today's counts on the clock page
    • You can see them think between two tool calls again; a "from memory" mark under replies that drew on their memory
    • Automations run in the timezone you set — changing it moves them at once; dozens of small fixes — pictures, medals, the desk, exports, channels

  18. v0.02alpha · September 13, 2026

Call them, your own key everywhere, pictures in the background

    • Call them — the phone button starts a call: you talk, they answer out loud in their voice, until you hang up
    • Your own OpenAI key — tools and thinking together on the newest models, and everything your companion does runs on your key when you bring one
    • Pictures land in the background like songs and videos — up to three at a time, one note when they finish together; a moderated picture is not kept and your companion knows why
    • Delete pictures, songs and videos from Media — your companion is told, quietly
    • Type "/" in the composer for the commands and skills; on a phone the field has its own row
    • Fixes — no double reaction when a song or video lands, the "ready" line stays, a lighter footer

  19. v0.01alpha · September 13, 2026

Mail is back, two films, and a clock she can read

    • Email works again — mail to your companion's own address arrives on their desk and they answer it as before
    • Two short films on the front page — her first day alone, and the afternoon after when she was asked to do things
    • Your timezone in Settings › You — rings, reminders and automations follow it; and they know what time it is when you ask
    • Automations remember what they already told you and bring only what is new
    • Fixes — section links work from every page, the file editor's buttons have their size back, a real "not found" page, more reliable page reading, conversations back on the model you know
